The Met Gala is a fashion forward and spectacular event held every year to support and raise funds for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. We see incredible outfits with astounding designs, accessories and jewelry to go with it. It is usually held on the first Monday in May and that is exactly when it was held in 2022 as well. Fashion enthusiasts all over the world eagerly await this event for its extravagance and bringing forth a different time period into focus. The theme for this year was ‘In America: An Anthology of Fashion’. While some delivered the looks to the hilt, others just didn’t go that far to stick to the theme. Celebs like Blake Lively, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cardi B, Gigi Hadid and Vanessa Hudgens, among others were some of the celebs that were the best dressed and brought more than a good dose of glamour to the event.
Here is the list of the celebs who brought their very best outfits at the Met Gala 2022 and what they wore!
1) Katy Perry
The songstress looked stunning in an Oscar de la Renta gown with Briony Raymond jewelry.
Singer-songwriter Billie Eilish came in a gorgeous entirely upcycled Gucci silk gown. She paired it with a black choker with scalloped embroidery. She even won the best-dressed title!
3) Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian came in a vintage Jean Louis gown that was famously once worn by Marilyn Monroe and wore Cartier jewelry with it.

Bella Hadid looked incredible in a sheer black Burberry gown and Briony Raymond jewelry

Miranda Kerr strutted her stuff in a white Oscar de la Renta gown and sparkling Bvlgari jewelry

Kendall Jenner came in Prada, which turned out to be the biggest dress at the Met Gala 2022. She paired her black outfit with dazzling Lorraine Schwartz earrings.
8) Molly Sims
Molly Sims’s powdery pink gown by Monique Lhuillier was bang on. The wife of Netflix producer Stuber, paired her gorgeous outfit with exquisite jewelry by Ring Concierge, that included a statement diamond ring and dangling diamond earrings.
9) Oscar Isaac
Oscar Isaac surprised everyone by coming on the Met Gala 2022 red carpet in a dress while his wife Elvira Lind chose to wear a suit! Both the outfits were designed by Thom Browne. The ‘Moon Knight’ actor also paired his unique dress with a simple Cartier watch and bracelet.

11) Naomi Campbell
Naomi Campbell strutted her stuff in a floor length black gown by Burberry. The dress has its logo embroidered all over. The supermodel’s face was bejeweled and she wore a whopping $6.6 million necklace made of 37” round brilliant cut natural yellow diamonds. It weighed an unbelievable 161.52-carat and took jeweler Jacob & Co.arly 2 years to source and create!
12) Blake Lively
Blake Lively looked magnificent in an Atelier Versace gown inspired by the architecture of New York City. She paired her dress with dangling earrings and a seven spiked crown by Lorraine Schwartz.

Amber Valletta made heads turn in her shimmery gold vintage Azzaro gown and paired it with perfect Buccellati jewelry.
14) Alicia Keys
Alicia Keys accentuated her gorgeous Ralph Lauren gown with stunning Tiffany & Co. earrings that made her eyes sparkle!

Dwyane Wade came in an eye popping, abs showing a shirtless suit by Versace. The Tiffany & Co. brooch with the necklace and a watch from Vacheron Constantin, perfectly complimented his cool look.

Carey Mulligan stunned everyone by showing up on the red carpet in a Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown that took an unbelievable 4000 hours to embroider! Her matching Schiaparelli earrings were just the perfect accessory she needed.

Camila Cabello looked divine in a white Prabal Gurung gown with scintillating Tasaki earrings.

Cardi B was the Met Gala’s ‘golden girl’ with a gold gown and stacked gold multiple chains by Versace.

Ashley Park’s incredible look in a Prabal Gurung gown was inspired by Audrey Hepburn. The actress paired her dress with stacked diamond necklaces and glittering drop earrings from Mimi So, Tasaki, and Marli New York.
